THE COMPANIES

About Us PDF Print E-mail
Young Audiences Scotland is the pilot audience development project for the children and young people’s theatre sector developed and managed by the consortium of Catherine Wheels, the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival, Giant, Starcatchers, macrobert, TAG, Visible Fictions, Puppet Animation Scotland and Wee Stories.

The ultimate aim of the project is to increase and develop audiences for children and young people's theatre in Scotland, through collaborative working and dissemination of best practice.

We invite any venue or professional arts organisation presenting performing arts work for children and young people in Scotland to add their Scottish performance dates into the What's On section of this site.  Please email us for more information at the address below.

Marketing and Pricing in the Children & Young People's Theatre sector - A discussion document

In December 2009, Young Audiences Scotland commissioned Culture Sparks to deliver an in-depth qualitative research project which would seek to investigate and understand current practice in pricing, marketing and programming in children and young people’s theatre across Scotland. The findings of this research are presented here as a paper for further discussion and debate. To download, please click on the front page of the document to the right.
